Keep your Keys and Pets Far Away from Each Other!

Most of us are familiar with that awkward situation when we cannot find our keys. This situation is not just inconvenient, it can also be expensive.

Unless it’s that case when the key is “lost” inside your own pocket, your bag or locked inside your house, you will probably have to install a new lock, in order to have an access to your keys again.
This will also guarantee that your house is protected from whoever might have found your lost key, on the long run.

If you want to avoid finding yourself desperately looking for your keys and being unable to find them, here are some useful tips for you:
⦁    Always put the keys in the same place in the house
⦁    Carry the keys in the same pocket
⦁    Tap the pocket before leaving a building, in order to make sure that the keys are there
⦁    Avoid giving the keys to other people, even if it’s just in order to let another person use the bottle opener that is attached to the set of keys (just open the bottle yourself instead)
⦁    Keep your keys away from pets

The first three points are self-explanatory, but the fourth and fifth ones are equally important and deserve more attention that most people might think.

Now that everybody seems to carry a cell phone which has a camera, our security is at constant risk.

Our keys have ‘stamp codes’ carved onto them and a photograph of your keys is all that a professional locksmith (or an experienced criminal) to duplicate them. This is why it’s better to avoid giving your set of keys to other people, especially ones that are not your friends or siblings.

Also, keys often look toys to pets, especially if they have fancy or elaborate attachments on them. Whilst playing, cats and dogs often hide their toys, or even bury them. If you don’t want to get your keys buried in the yard, do your best to keep your set of keys as far as possible from your pets!
