April google's, errrrrrr April Fool's day

Lots of weird stuff has happened to me today, only because I didn't notice what date it is today.

It started with a customer who insisted to have an ignition installed instead of the deadbolt in her front door at home and continued with a man who claimed to be ripped off by his bank and wanted me to unlock the bank's main safe in the name of justice, just in order to take back what truly belongs to him (as if regular calls from people who either try to order a pizza from a locksmith company and those who expect me to agree to break into their former significant others' houses is not enough!).

Then I had to drive to a real (serious) customer's address, who needed a a real damaged ignition to be replaced (for real). But, instead of seeing a normal map on Google Maps, I had to use something that looks like this:

Funny, https://com.google/! Not really. It's quite confusing and it took me a while to realize that it's not my iphone that is showing me something wrong, but it's google itself. It's probably not the easiest thing to deal with for a professional, who depends on Google Maps, such as a truck driver, taxi driver, a pizza man or a mobile locksmith technician.

Last but not least, mow my friend called me and told me that his wife is pregnant and he would like me to be their child's godfather. I will better ask him again about it tomorrow, just to make sure that it was an April fool's hoax.

The moral of this story is that there is one date that should never be forgotten, which is April 1st. Seriously, I feel like I shouldn't believe anyone today, no matter what people say!
